with Mobile Fundraising

The Metropolitan Council on Jewish Poverty in New York City has partnered with Give by Cell to implement its Mobile Give fundraising service. Since 1972, the Council has been an advocate and defender for over 100,000 New Yorkers in need, and has raised awareness around the growing problem of Jewish poverty.

“Met Council is excited to partner with Give by Cell for the latest Mobile Give fundraising campaign,” said Katie Freeman, Met Council Communications Manager. “This innovative fundraising tool allows people to give back to New Yorkers in need through our organization simply by texting on their cell phones. It’s never been easier to make a difference.”

Supporters can donate $10, with the charge applied to their mobile phone bill, by texting "SUSTAIN" to 20222*. For more information about Mobile Give, please click here.
